Meet the Photographer
Hey, my name is Erica Miller
Common Thread started with something simple: Noticing how much of real life we don’t realize we’ll miss until it’s already passed.
The laughter that lingers. The quiet pauses. The small moments that end up meaning everything.
To me, photography is memory made tangible. It’s how we return to what already feels like part of us.
Here in the Washington, DC area, I document life as it actually is. Sometimes that looks like creating something together. Sometimes it’s stepping into what’s already unfolding.
Either way, I’m paying attention.
The way someone reaches for your hand. The glance you didn’t realize you gave. The in-between moments that would otherwise pass by.
The people I work with aren’t looking for perfect. They want something that feels like them.
If that’s what you’re looking for, I’d love to be part of it.
